We are assisting a client with hiring a Direct Labor Training System professional to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX. This position is direct hire with our client and no 3rd party candidates can be considered.
Job Summary:
The Direct Labor Training (Industrial Engineering), is responsible for managing the Direct Labor (DL) training system to ensure production staff are properly skilled, compliant, and audit-ready. This role oversees DL skill cards, skill matrix management, retraining schedules, and supports customer audits related to training compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Print and maintain DL Skill Cards for all production staff.
2. Track DL retraining sessions and ensure timely completion.
3. Assist in responding to customer audits regarding IE training compliance.
4. Manage and update the DL Skill Matrix for accurate coverage planning.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
* Training Coverage: = 98% of DL workforce holds valid skill cards for assigned stations.
* Retraining Timeliness: = 95% of retraining completed on or before due date.
* Audit Readiness: Zero major non-conformances related to training documentation.
* Matrix Accuracy: DL Skill Matrix accuracy = 99%.
Qualifications:
* Education: Graduated from university or above, major in Industrial Engineering.
* Work Experience: 0-3 years in industrial engineering or training coordination within manufacturing.
Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
o Strong organizational and documentation skills.
o Familiarity with training systems and compliance processes is a plus.
